Matt Burke is a sports writer whose work has appeared in The Eagle Tribune (MA), CSTV.com, Sports Illustrated On Campus, The North County Times (CA), The Daily Campus (CT) and in various other publications across the print and online world.
He has covered the NCAA Final Four, having been a beat writer and columnist for UConn’s 2004 National Championship squad in men’s basketball and UConn’s 2003 National Championship squad in women’s basketball.
Over the years he has covered every sport under the sun, including the 2006 NCAA water polo championships and Greco-Roman thumb wrestling.
Matt is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, holding a B.A. in Journalism.

Jason Devaney
A native of Massachusetts, Jason Devaney is a sportswriter at the Fairfax County Times in Northern Virginia. In the past, he has written for the Boston Globe, the Eagle Tribune, North Shore Golf and several other daily publications in New England.
Jason’s writing career has spanned across all things high school sports, and has touched on some college and professional sports. He was also lucky enough to have interviewed golf legends Arnold Palmer and Billy Casper.
Jason graduated from Northeastern University in 2003 with a B.A. In Journalism.
